Videos below include every show I worked on as Lead Snowboard Researcher at X Games Aspen 2024, 10 total Snowboard events including Men’s and Women’s Slopestyle, SuperPipe, Big Air, Knuckle Huck, and Street Style. I worked in the commentary booth for all but the Street Style events, and did research, stats, and storylines for all of them.

If you watch just one of them, make it Women’s Snowboard Big Air (the last video in this group), the climactic finale that aired live in a prime time TV slot and represents enormous leaps forward in progression on the women’s side.

Here’s a shot with the team for Women’s Snowboard Big Air: me, field reporter Jonathan “DC” Oetken, play-by-play announcer Brandon Graham, and analysts Craig McMorris and Torah Bright. The latter, a legend joining us for the first time: Bright is a two-time X Games SuperPipe gold medalist and a three-time Olympian who won gold in the halfpipe at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics (and silver in the halfpipe at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, where she also competed in slopestyle and snowboard cross racing!). Not pictured: Selema Masekela and Jason Ellis on the host set, Gabby Maiden and Jack Mitrani on the digital set, Brad Jay and Connor Manning on the live announce set.
